Aside from its apparent beauty, it's perhaps the most budget-friendly of diamond cuts. The reason? You get more bang for your buck. Let us explain. Since the corners of the diamond are left intact, it will be bigger than a round diamond of the same width, as less of the rough diamond has to be cut away when forming a square shape. Furthermore, princess diamonds are cut in the shape of a pyramid, and with four slanted sides, the cut has even more sparkle than other square diamonds due to the way the light is dispersed.
