If there's one T-shirt that everyone is talking about this year, it's Re/Done's 1960s Slim Tee. Editors, bloggers, and celebs (Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner included) alike have been spotted wearing this tee, and it's no coincidence. Since its release in March, it has quickly become clear that the top is something special. While $78 for a T-shirt is sure to induce a bit of sticker shock, we can say from experience that it's worth it.

Re/Done has proven its expertise in reworking vintage pieces, as evidenced by the brand's perfectly tailored cool-girl favorite denim collection, and it's taken the magical powers it uses on Levi's jeans for the reworked Hanes T-shirts. The result? A slim cap-sleeve tee and a boxy cropped version. We're partial to the 1960s Slim Tee, as it's perfect both on its own or under anything from a camisole to a leather jacket. The fit is slim without being tight, and the wide sleeves are surprisingly slimming.

What comes at no surprise, though, is that the shirt sold out in both black and white everywhere—but we're happy to report that it's back, with a new gray iteration to round out the pack of neutrals. And did we mention that it's incredibly soft? So before you scoff at the price tag, just trust us—it's the perfect tee.
