Much like the leggings as pants debate, the great flip-flops as shoes debate carries on, especially during the current dog days of summer when all that seems to matter is that your shoes cover as little of your foot as possible. While many feel that flip-flops are best reserved for post-pedicure and the beach, veteran Victoria's Secret Angle Behati Prinsloo, who's currently expecting her first child with husband Adam Levine, singlehandedly proved that flip-flops can actually be chic when styled the right way. 

Prinsloo paired a simple pair of black flip-flops with a black dress and open button-down shirt, which successfully displayed that a slim midi-length dress or skirt actually elevates the most casual of sandals.
