It's honestly difficult to imagine our lives without Sex and the City. In fact, we often find ourselves quoting the series on the regular and daydreaming of life as a freelance writer living in New York City, drinking cosmos and waltzing about in the most enviable shoe collection. (That's this editor's dream, anyway). So you can imagine our excitement whenever Sarah Jessica Parker references the show or steps out in an outfit reminiscent of Carrie Bradshaw. In other words, we were in fashion heaven last night when we spotted SJP at the ACE Awards in NYC. 

She wore a ruffled off-the-shoulder dress Carrie totally would wear today in 2016—it's pretty, fashion-forward, and has just the right amount of drama. And the shoes? A vibrant blue pair of open-toe heels with a bow detail. Totally Carrie.
