The Italian fashion house's creative director has managed to enthrall editors and shoppers alike with his romantic-meets-retro designs season after season. Today Michele kicked off Milan Fashion Week with a colorful bang, proving that maximalism is in for s/s 2017.

Models walked down the pink-tinged runway dressed in ruffles, sequins, and over-the-top accessories that anywhere else might all seem to fight for the spotlight, but at Gucci, are just plain genius.
