The seven-piece collection actually marks Pilotto's very first venture into denim—and he hit it out of the park. The jeans are a mashup of three of our favorite denim trends right now: patchwork, interesting hemlines, and cropped-flare silhouettes. If you're not ready to make the investment, however, take note: These jeans are the perfect inspiration point for a D.I.Y. project. 

If it seems like the jeans—and the rest of the collection—are almost museum-worthy, you're not imagining it. "I’m really interested in blurring boundaries," Upritchard told MatchesFashion.com. "There’s this idea that clothes are made in a different way to a painting, but really it’s the same kind of research. What’s the difference between fine art and applied art?" We couldn't agree more.
