Gigi Hadid touched down in Paris earlier today, skipping the Victoria's Secret private jet that transported her sister Bella and fellow angels in favor of a solo arrival in the City of Light. Despite the international commute, Hadid looked every bit the part of model off duty with round sunglasses and her hair slicked back in a no-fuss bun. She sported a pastel camo track jacket and black Reebok sneakers but the most striking part of her effortless look were her leather skinny jeans. While tight leather isn't the first material or fit that comes to mind when we think of flight-friendly apparel, Hadid isn't the first fashion girl to endorse the look.

In Who What Wear's Facebook Live interview with Jessica Alba earlier this month, the new designer dished that she loves traveling in leather pants, especially DL1961's No. 3 Instasculpt Skinny. She backed up the alarming fact by assuring that they're so comfortable. "I'm not going to say it's like sweatpants, but I'm totally going to say it's like sweatpants," admitted. Considering just how much the entrepreneur flies, and the fact that fellow jet setter Hadid is also on board, we may have to reconsider leather skinnies as our next travel day staple.
