When it comes to shoes, we know our readers have lots of opinions—and we certainly don't blame you. From "ugly" sandals to clunky loafers, certain styles spark plenty of debate amongst fashion girls. Flip-flops are also on that list: Are they a faux pas, or are they perfect for casual days? Chrissy Teigen, for one, refuses to wear them, but others are advocates for them. We may never get a final verdict, but Ashley Olsen's most recent outfit might convince you to go for it. 

Spotted in St. Bart's, Olsen teamed her flip-flops with a breezy white dress and oversized sunglasses. (Her sister Mary-Kate, on the other hand, likes to style the shoes with a white T-shirt and black trousers.) Ashley isn't just a fan of flip-flops for vacation—while home in New York City last month, she wore them with treggings and an oversized sweater.
