According to data collected by eBay, the hottest item shoppers were scrambling to get their hands on this year was a watch. In the United States alone, a watch was sold every three seconds.

This whopping statistic actually comes as no surprise, considering the timepiece makes for a popular gift and its elevated price range makes it the perfect item to score during a Black Friday deal. Other timekeeping wearables also made it ino the top ten hottest selling items, with Apple Watches selling every 13 seconds and Fitbits selling every 15.
