Olivia Palermo has proven herself to be one of the rare celebrities who repeatedly re-wears her most-loved wardrobe staples, from coats to jeans to shoes. One of the pieces we've spotted her wearing on a number of occasions since all the way back in 2014 is her trusty pair of Isabel Marant Cluster Boots. The flat, wide-opening ankle boots are perfect for pounding the NYC pavement during the winter months and are a more polished alternative to UGG boots. The classic boots feature a slouchy shape and an internal hidden wedge.

While she usually opts to wear them with skinny jeans, this week Palermo paired them with something a bit more unexpected: a silky cream-colored midi skirt, which she topped off with a more winter-friendly turtleneck sweater and military coat. The boots effortlessly dressed the skirt down and gave the entire outfit a casual-cool feel (although with the freezing temperatures in New York this week, the look isn't for the faint of heart).
