It’s no secret that leggings reigned supreme in 2016. Seriously. Everyone from Kendall Jenner to Bella Hadid to Selena Gomez stepped out in the stretchy pants. But these It girls didn’t just wear leggings to and from the gym like most of us probably have in seasons past, they reinvented the athleisure staple, pairing them with of-the-moment duster jackets, ankle boots, chunky sweaters, and everything in between.

While we all probably had a favorite celeb-approved leggings outfit formula last year (this editor adored the crop top, bomber jacket, and sneakers look, FYI), there are key looks that will be just as big (if not bigger!) coming ahead in 2017.
