Pop quiz: How did you celebrate New Year's Eve in the '90s? And more importantly, what did you wear? In honor of the impending holiday, we decided to take a little walk down memory lane and see how Hollywood fêted NYE during the glorious decade we now associate with the Spice Girls and flannel shirts (among other things).

We scoured through images and found some stylish gems, including photos of some of the biggest stars of the '90s, like Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, and Jessica Simpson. Both making appearances on MTV, Stefani was sporting pink hair and wearing a miniskirt over pants, while Aguilera wore a glittering tube top and leather pants—could it get any more '90s than that?
