Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Defends Being "Overdressed" at the Airport

12:32:00 PM

Who What Wear fans know that we've waxed poetic about Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's perfect airport style many times before. But thanks to a new interview with InStyle, we now know more about her strategy for pitch-perfect compiling travel outfits.

“People probably think I’m overdressed for the airport,” she told the magazine. “But that’s just me—a great outfit is my armor. I feel confident and ready to face the world.” Considering her travel outfit expertise, it should come as no surprise that InStyle would choose an airport theme for the magazine's new shoot with Huntington-Whiteley. In a statement Gucci coat and sophisticated Bottega Veneta separates, the resulting outfits are a tad more red carpet–ready than the model's usual paparazzi snaps, but we have a feeling she could pull off these looks IRL too. Watch out, LAX!
