The New Year is finally upon us, and the winter weather is still sticking around. At this point in the season, it's time to start getting creative with getting warm. Yes, that means going past your typical layering tactics or even statement coats. We're talking about stepping out your comfort zone with a hat. What's more—a pretty controversial hat style, the newsboy hat. 

Bella Hadid just stepped out in one in Aspen, and though up until now we thought it would be incredibly hard to pull off (except in Kendall Jenner's case earlier this year), she totally made it work. She styled the Isabel Marant Étoile topper with a black turtleneck, furry coat, and her cool new 3x1 split-hem jeans (perfect for showing off boots). The monochrome outfit pulled together for something incredibly forward-looking, not to mention cozy. We don't know about you, but we're convinced on this one.
