You may have heard: Tomorrow is Valentine's Day. While there's nothing innately wrong with the annual celebration of all things warm and fuzzy, I'm of the slightly marginalized opinion that there are better ways to use my time. (And no, I'm not a bitter single person—I'm in a loving, happy, and supportive relationship, and I am still opposed to V-Day.)

It's not that I'm anti-love. I just think there are so many more things we could and should be doing with our money and time instead of buying flowers and eating candy. Just hear me out, okay?
