From Business of Fashion's symbolic white bandanas to Dior's now-ubiquitous "We should all be feminists" T-shirts, the fashion industry is no stranger to making statements. So what are other ways designers are reacting to our current political climate? Anna Wintour, for one, has some thoughts.

In a new Vogue video discussing her takeaways from London Fashion Week, Wintour shared her opinion: "The things I have noticed on the runways, both in New York and London, has been a celebration of diversity," she says in the video. "At a time when immigration is so much on people's minds, it's wonderful the designers have acknowledged that, showing the world that the fashion world is a very inclusive place."

She went on to mention Erdem's F/W 17 collection, which was inspired by an imagined meeting of the designer's two great-grandmothers, one from Turkey and one from England. "Again, it was a celebration of different cultures," Wintour explained.
