All hail Queen Bey. If you're still recovering from Beyonce's knockout performance at the 2017 Grammy Awards, we don't blame you. As we all gathered around our televisions Sunday night to see who would be taking home the gold and witness an all-star lineup of performances, Beyonce stole the show by bestowing upon the masses an outstanding and empowering spectacle with back-to-back songs—"Love Drought" and "Sand Castles" from her album Lemonade.

It was a celebration of women, motherhood, and female strength delivered through jaw-dropping visuals. The elaborate costumes evoked references to religious signifiers and Renaissance art—an aesthetic continued from her announcement that she's having twins. Beyonce was joined onstage by an all-women cast and culminated the powerful performance with the line, "If we’re going to heal, let it be glorious." It doesn't get more empowering than that.
