Given that the general consensus is that we've reached peak choker, there's room in fashion girls' wardrobes for a new accessory trend to slip in, and Emma Stone just wore what might be the top contender. The award-season darling of the year attended the BAFTAs in London last night and won both the award for best dressed on the red carpet and her performance in La La Land. Her stunning look for the evening consisted of a Chanel S/S 17 couture dress-and-pants set and matching silver pumps. As if the look weren't amazing enough in itself, Stone added a cool-girl finishing touch that did not go unnoticed—a chunky pearl anklet that Coco Chanel would've adored.

While anklets have certainly crept back into relevance as of last spring, we're starting to see a shift toward more chunky, bold, and even cuff-like ankle bracelets as opposed to delicate (shout-out to Attico's sellout-worthy buckled ankle cuffs).
