It’s pretty silly to assume that once a woman is pregnant, her style undergoes a massive shift. Clothing sizes and priorities may change, but not necessarily personal taste. And that was evident in Amal Clooney’s first red carpet appearance since the world found out she’s expecting twins.

Walking hand in hand with husband George at the 42nd César Awards in France, Clooney looked glowing, as expected, in a strapless white gown with a feathered, ombré bottom. In essence, the dress reminded us other red carpet choices for the mom-to-be, who has a penchant for classic silhouettes and a bit of Old Hollywood glamour. The Atelier Versace number she opted for today had the same qualities while hugging her growing bump.
