In town to speak at the United Nations, Clooney (who is expecting twins, in case you haven't heard) stepped out wearing what's shaping up to be the number one trend of 2017—pink.

Like it or not, there's no escaping the feminine hue right now. It's made recent appearances on a slew of designer's runways and is a major street style trend. And Clooney has worn bold pink looks herself in the past. What made Clooney's latest pink look stand out was her risky decision to wear not just one pink piece, but three. She opted for a pink coat, a belted pink velvet dress, and a pink bag. While that may sound like a lot of pink for one outfit, the result was a lot more wearable than you'd think. By pairing her rose-colored look with simple black pumps, the monochromatic look was polished and understated.
