It seems that wedding season is in the air, or at the very least on the red carpet. And as always, if something is on trend, expect style muse Alexa Chung to be ahead of the curve.

Chung attended the 2017 National Portrait Gallery Tuesday night in an off-the-shoulder Loewe dress with black polka dots all over a white backdrop. The design also featured romantic full sleeves and a similar skirt, which instantly gave it major bridal vibes. After all, this particular silhouette has gotten very popular recently among brides, and there's Pinterest search data to show it.

While polka dots and bare shoulders might sound like a bold combination—for a wedding aisle, red carpet, or elsewhere—in true It-girl form, Chung effortlessly pulled off the elegant look with minimal accessories. It didn't hurt that she had a little help from her dapper date. Chung's dad, Philip, accompanied her to the event in a polished black tuxedo for a sweet father/daughter night out, where the pair also met Kate Middleton.

So no, no one technically got married, but we're considering Chung's latest—and arguably greatest—red carpet look the ultimate wedding-day inspiration for nontraditional brides-to-be everywhere.
