While in New York promoting her latest film, Personal Shopper, the newly-bleached blonde sported a punk-inspired ensemble—a black crop top and bomber jacket combo paired with pinstriped pants and burgundy Oxfords. For accessories, Stewart really drove the edgy look home with fishnet socks, a chainlink and lock necklace, and round tinted sunglasses.

What's not instantly obvious from the punky look is Stewart perfected a mix of high and low. While from shoes to pants to jacket each piece was a statement, it was her understated top—a Cotton On cropped number available for a modest $15—that brought the whole look together while steering clear of appearing too busy. Fellow fashion girls Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner are fans of the brand for their go-to crop top, favoring Cotton On's now sold-out ribbed turtleneck version for their off-duty looks.
