There's a lot of praise that we could (and do) bestow upon Madewell, but perhaps numero uno is their uncanny ability to know exactly what their customers want to spend their paychecks on at any given moment. And their newly-release collaboration is no exception. Madewell teamed with Claire Lampert and Stacy Daily of Brooklyn-based cult-favorite online vintage shop Where I Was From for a 12-piece capsule collection that basically sums up exactly what NYC girls want to live in during the summer months. The vintage-inspired pieces feature the flattering, modern fits that Madewell is known for, in the form of sun-washed pink high-rise jeans and shorts (we've already convinced ourselves we need both), subtle graphic tees, and the perfect pair of white overalls to wear with your retro sneakers.
