Lily-Rose Depp just reached a major milestone. The It girl, model, and actress celebrated her 18th birthday over the weekend, and, naturally, we were curious to see what she'd wear for the momentous occasion, which she graciously shared with the world via Instagram. If you guessed she'd don a cowboy-chic ensemble, you would be correct. Depp chose a very on-trend combination of a ruffled corset, pink statement earrings, and raw-hem jeans. And to complete the look, she decided on one of fall's biggest boot trends (as evidenced by the F/W 17 runways): cowboy boots.

The classic style has been hinting at a return for several seasons now but never before as loudly as designers hinted at the trend for the fall season—Louis Vuitton, Céline, Stelle McCartney, Vetements, and Calvin Klein are just a few of the fashion houses on board with the trend. And it's not surprising that the directional Depp (and her fellow cowboy boot–clad friend) is one of the first to endorse the trend in 2017. Want to join her?
