Obviously, The Met Gala Photo Booth Was Insane—Here's Proof

8:55:00 AM

The Met Gala is known as the Super Bowl of fashion for a reason, and last night, all eyes were rightfully on the extravagant red carpet. Inside the event, though, there was much less press.

The Met Gala has strict rules about taking photos that bars attendees from snapping a ton of selfies. Aside from the occasional bathroom pic, photos generally aren't allowed in order keep the event as exclusive as possible. But this year, the Met Gala offered up a special Instagram photo booth with moving virtual patterns in the back to shake things up.

The photo booth included a video feature where guests could pose on a runway platform with digital images of patterns flickering behind them. Everyone from event co-chair Katy Perry to Jaden Smith tried it out, and even Anna Wintour herself joined in the fun, leading to a medley of stylish snapshots.
