We’ll admit that Sarah Jessica Parker and sneakers don’t often go together in the same sentence. We know the New York style star to be a major fan of beautiful heels, so much so that she debuted a collection of her very own just a few years ago. But no one is immune to the appeal of a comfortable, walkable sole, and for the actress’s very first “sneaker” design she took a very unique approach. Complete with sparkle, naturally.

Parker posted a video to her Instagram today of her jumping around in the SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker Meteor Glitter T-Strap Flats. “Just in time for summer...She's here! She's Meteor!,” the caption reads, “A comfortable, smart, day-to-night silhouette that's SO sparkly she'll blow your mind.”

While the designer refers to the style as that brand’s “very first sneaker," some might argue that this is more of a flat. After all, there aren’t any laces and the silhouette is much more open than anything you'd typically see on an athlete. That said, we'll let you make that call for yourself.
