These days, we turn to Lauren Conrad for her relaxed, romantic take on city style. But, let's not forget that growing up on the California coast means Conrad has a mastery of beachwear, too. So, it was only natural for Conrad to expand her popular LC Lauren Conrad line to swimwear just in time for summer. The new collection includes suits, cover-ups, and accessories, which Conrad describes as "beachy pieces and separates that can be worn together."

The new swimsuits are colorful and fun, with pops of color like hunter green and bold red, along with tropical palm prints. But, most importantly, the suits are designed to flatter. "Everybody has such a different preference when it comes to swim," Conrad says. "I think the more classic styles tend to be easier to wear." She adds, "I really like the [bikini bottom] we created. It's a cute little bikini, but it also has enough coverage so that people can feel comfortable."

And whether you have a beach vacation on the horizon or not, Conrad's handy bikini styling trick is not to be overlooked. "In this line, I really wanted to do mix and match like that you buy separately because I like mixing patterns and prints, and I feel like you get a lot more mileage out of your swimwear that way."
