Regardless of where you stand when it comes to wearing leggings, there’s no denying they’re an It girl staple. And when we’ve witnessed leggings cropping up in a variety of off-duty stylings, we’ve seen just about every outfit combo—from laid-back athleisure to more elevated looks. But even with leggings, there are certain lines a fashion girl won’t cross. With rising It girl Delilah Belle Hamlin, the biggest no-no is pairing leggings with heels.

“I would never wear heels with leggings,” the model confessed to us when we caught up with her at the unveiling of the new Sephora at the Westfield Century City mall in Los Angeles. “One time I did that for a casting and oh my god, I regretted it.” For the most part, Hamlin is equal parts adventurous and effortless when it comes to her off-duty stylings. The model often opts for track pants or sweatpants to outfit her casual day-to-day looks. But when it comes to leggings, Hamlin won't be caught wearing heels with them again.
