I'm not sure how this happened, but it's gotten to the point where almost all of my bags are from Staud, the L.A.-based brand that every fashion girl knows and loves. And with good reason—every piece that it designs feels special, unique, and cool but won't leave you with an empty checking account. This season, the bag that I had to literally drop everything to buy the moment I saw it in was the Moreau Bucket Bag, a perfectly sized whiskey-colored leather bucket inside a fisherman's net with matching leather handles. The bag is so eye-catching that I receive compliments every single time I carry it.

My fondness aside, it's become quite clear that I had myself the It bag of summer when I started seeing it all over Instagram, via the likes of Leandra Medine, Aimee Song, and Lisa Aiken, to name just a few. Alexa Chung has even been spotted carrying it around NYC. Given its Insta fame, it's not exactly surprising that the bag has since sold out on both Staud's site and Net-a-Porter. But if it's any reassurance, Staud often restocks its popular pieces, so sign up for the email alerts and keep stalking the site.
