It's become quite clear over the years that Kate Middleton likes what she likes. The Duchess of Cambridge's classic, feminine aesthetic was on full display once again today for her second time attending Royal Ascot, and it was in perfect keeping with the event's very specific dress code. Similar to last year's Dolce & Gabbana dress, Middleton chose a white lace frock for the occasion, along with a complementary hat, small nude clutch, and nude heels. 

What struck us the most about Middleton's look, besides how perfectly appropriate and polished she looked, was that it was quite similar to Pippa Middleton's wedding gown, her Royal Ascot dress last year, and her very own lace Alexander McQueen wedding dress. Both she and younger sister Pippa seem to be fans of a modest white lace dress that's slightly sheer at the top and fitted at the bodice before flowing out at the waist.
