If you follow Olivia Palermo's style, then you know that the quintessential NYC girl loves wearing sneakers in unique ways. And just when you were probably feeling a little bored with your white sneakers (we get it), she arrived with a fresh new outfit idea for summer that requires only three pieces.

To give her classic white Kenneth Cole Kam sneakers (a celebrity favorite) a stylish 2017 twist, Palermo turned to a white midi skirt (which she's worn on repeat, no matter what the season is) from her own collection with Nordstrom. She topped the look off with an oversize gray sweater tucked into the front of the skirt, along with a few statement accessories (a scarf-adorned mini bag and colored-lens sunglasses). Our opinion? The resulting NYC girl-approved look is perfect for overcast summer days especially, no matter where you reside.
