Over the years, we've come to realize that a trend can come and go and then come back again so quickly that it forces us to do a double-take when we see a celebrity endorsing it again. Especially celebrities as sartorially influential as Olivia Palermo and Kendall Jenner. The trend that we're referring to in this case is one that we just reported was officially "dead" back in March but that both It girls just wore in Paris while in town for Couture Fashion Week: brogues. 

The menswear-inspired look of brogues, or oxfords, proved itself to be the perfect counterpoint to Palermo's feminine lace dress and Jenner's nipped-in-waist suit. While loafers were gaining significant steam over brogues this past spring, we wouldn't be surprised in the least if they were set for yet another return, just in time for fall.
