Malia Obama arrived at Harvard yesterday, following a gap year post-high-school-graduation and eight years of living in the White House. But while these things might make the eldest Obama daughter stand out among the class of 2021, her ensemble also made a subtle statement for move-in day.

Opting for a laid-back combination of an Alexander Wang T-shirt, slip dress, and one of her several go-to pairs of sneakers (specifically Reebok), Obama channeled a very ‘90s vibe. Her addition of a scrunchie around her wrist really sealed the deal.
