Full disclosure: the image above is not a picture of my room. I live in New York and my room is smaller, messier, and well, feels a bit more cramped. The Swedish brand has a knack for offering just about anything home-goods related your heart might desire. But, for me, it's one of their simplest pieces that has stood the test of time. Their simple shoe hanger hung on the back of my closet door, has come to be a handy and out-of-sight catch all for everything from flip-flops, to sunglasses, to twisted and coiled iPhone cords. And while it's a humbling piece of design, there's no denying it's handiness when space is tight.
