The naked dress has also become a favorite of brides. For her wedding reception last month, Julianne Hough donned a custom Marchesa creation best described as an ornately beaded flowing robe over a plunging lace bodysuit. When fashion blogger Rumi Neely tied the knot earlier this month, she put her own "naked" twist on the classic wedding dress with a full-skirt gown featuring a sheer paneled bodice and thigh-high slit.

Today, Danish blogger Pernille Teisbaek exchanged vows in a sheer, layered gown of delicate lace embellished with pearls. The cascading wedding dress was the right amount of sheer at the full-length sleeves and legs.
