Whenever fashion month rolls around, there's one person you can count on to have polished, timeless style: Anna Wintour. So when we were sifting through old photos of the editor in chief, we were surprised to see that she actually experimented with a shoe trend we have a feeling she might not wear these days: knee-high, slouchy suede boots. 

Snapped during Milan Fashion Week this week in 2010, Wintour wore the unexpected boots with pieces she's definitely still wearing in 2017, including a shift dress, cardigan, and statement necklace. Although Wintour is more likely to be spotted in sleek Manolo Blahnik heels today, the slouchy boots she wore 7 years ago are definitely back in style—just look to Bella Hadid as proof. What's old is new again.
