During what is considered one of the most exciting (and highly-anticipated) times in the fashion industry—fashion month, of course—we spend a lot of our time sifting through all of the new creations designers unveil. And while the looks on the runway always provide serious outfit inspiration (especially in the seasons to come), it's those spotted off-the-runway that often offer another glimpse into what's currently trending. 

So today's fashion focus is on Victoria Beckham, designer, mother, and modern style icon. We have always been very outspoken for our admiration of the former Spice Girl (and kept a close eye on all of her standout ensembles), but there is a particular two-piece outfit combination she has been wearing a lot this month—and no, it's not jeans and a T-shirt.

Throughout September, it seems Victoria has swapped her denim for flowy, full-length skirts, and her casual shirts for sleek, often times sheer, button-ups. Sometimes paired with pumps, sometimes with knee-high boots, she's found the perfect outfit combo for when you're in the mood to dress up without being too overdone.

Plus, the skirt and button-up pairing perfectly fuses femininity with minimalism—something that was also very prominent in her SS 18 collection. Well done, Victoria!
