With 80º days still lingering on both coasts, it may seem like fall may never come. But that's no reason not to look ahead for your new-season wardrobe—Olivia Culpo, for one, is looking forward to sweater (and down-jacket) weather. We caught up with the style star—who recently celebrated Canada Goose's 60th anniversary in Toronto—to get the scoop on the three trends she's trying fall.

First up is layering unexpected pieces. "Layering is a big one for fall/winter," Culpo says. "You can make pieces look completely different when you layer. [For instance], I wore a cozy sweater over a slip dress. I love that fall is a transition time when you can combine summer and winter pieces. I also like to layer a Canada Goose jacket even though it is an outer coat—[and I'd wear it with] a great pair of jeans and some killer boots." 

She also has two shoe trends in mind for the new season, and they're both already celeb-approved: white shoes (which Ashley Olsen is also a fan of) and slouchy boots (which Bella Hadid also approves of). In other words, consider your fall shopping list complete.
