The Levi's Jacket I Wear With Leggings, Jeans, and Dresses

9:28:00 PM

Welcome to the latest edition of the series in which we’ll cover a variety of basics that we turn to time and time again. We hope that The Basics will help you to build your closet with pieces that you too will wear on repeat without doing harm to your bank account. We already covered the $69 treggings that "flatter every body type", the $100 cashmere sweater that makes my wardrobe look expensive, the free leggings everyone was talking about, the perfect T-shirt I wear over and over, the world’s most slimming skinny jeans, and the $30 tank I wear with leggings once a week. Next up, I’m sharing my experience with the Levi's denim jacket I wear everywhere and with everything.

I'm one of those people who takes a jacket with them every time they leave the house, even if it's the middle of a 100-degree heat wave (the air conditioning is usually cranked up everywhere during those). I've been left freezing and jacketless too many times in my life to make that mistake ever again, so grabbing a jacket is as routine as putting on shoes for me at this point. And more often than not, the jacket I reach for is my trusty Levi's Ex-Boyfriend Trucker Jacket. You're probably already aware of the versatility of a denim jacket, and Levi's made the perfect iteration of that. The fit of the Ex-Boyfriend Trucker Jacket is slightly oversized yet still flattering, comes in a number of cool washes (currently eight in total), and looks perfectly worn-in and gets even better with age. I wear mine with everything in my closet and even rely on it during winter by using it as a layering piece. I throw it on when I want to dress up leggings or dress down a fancy dress, I never travel without it, and it's under-$100, so owning it in a few washes won't leave my bank account depleted. Still not convinced?

Read on to see proof of my devotion to Levi's perfect denim jacket, and shop the jacket and outfits featuring the jacket.
