It's a common nightmare to envision yourself standing in front of a crowd in nothing but your underwear. But, of late, celebrities and street style stars alike have come to embrace the idea of showing a sliver of bra. No, this isn't exactly a look to wear to work tomorrow, but for occasions when you want to show a bit of skin, finding a way you feel comfortable turning your underwear into outerwear is a cool way to achieve the look.

We tapped Victoria's Secret angels Romee Strijd and Jasmine Tookes to break down their favorite way to give it a spin. "Start with a see-through top!" said Strijd in an email interview. "The Sexy Illusion bra would be a great bra to incorporate under a sheer top. It is incredibly comfortable!"

Tookes agrees with the ensemble. "I think it's nice to layer the bra under a semi-sheer button-down shirt because that way you're still covered and also can still see about of the bra," she said.

As models who spend a lot of time showing off their bras, the duo to knows a thing or two about flattering ways to do so. So if you're ready to give the trend a try, opt for a lacy or statement bra under a top that allows it to peek through.
