The naked trend has seen many varying iterations. Only recently have we seen this often daring trend glide down the runway as an elegant design element rather than a controversial red carpet moment. At Jason Wu, the "naked" dress got an elevated refresh. Another standout moment for the trend this NYFW came during Prabal Gurung's Spring/Summer 2018 show, where the designer featured shoes of varying heel height with see-through geometric block heels. The geometric heels that stole the show came in electric yellow, cream leather, and black lacquer (the clothes were great too, we promise). Unlike the leg-lengthening naked heels with clear straps, the heels in this new crop of footwear feel much more like art pieces in their own right. Every pair feels so special, that we can't wait to get our feet in a pair this spring.
