I’m in major denial that summer is over! This whole year has flown by, it’s crazy! This time of year is my favorite for fashion when you start to mix summer favorites with new fall finds. . These pink linen shorts (last worn here) are on sale under $50 and are one of my favorites, plus with blush being such a big color this fall they are so easy to transition.

There are two pieces that can transform almost any summer look: a cardigan and ankle boots I love the slouchy, cozy look of a long cardigan with shorts, either cut-offs for a casual look or dressed up like with this pretty linen pair. I also love getting to pair ankle booties with shorter hems, whether it’s shorts or simple shift dresses. You can’t go wrong by adding an ankle boot – just choose one with a heel if you want to dress up for a night out.
