Originally published on September 2: Taylor Swift kept an extremely low profile while working on her new album, Reputation, but made an exciting public appearance for the wedding of her childhood best friend, Abigail Anderson. Swift served as a bridesmaid in the ceremony on Saturday, which took place in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. She wore an attractive burgundy gown that perfectly complemented Anderson's gorgeous wedding dress.

In an interview with The Knot last year, Anderson revealed that she met her now husband, Matt Lucier, in Martha's Vineyard in the summer of 2012—hence the location of their wedding. She had also told The Knot that Lucier was born in the small town while Anderson's aunt also has a house there, so the location was an obvious choice for the duo.
