Found: A Cool Way to Shop the Next "It" Designers

11:34:00 AM

Launching a fashion brand is no easy business. Though social media has helped bring small enterprises more visibility than ever before, it can still be a struggle to get things off of the ground. But tomorrow, luxury e-comm site Moda Operandi is launching "The Platform" to help change things for the better. The fashion-forward site is known for helping to bring visibility to newer brands, but this new move makes Moda's commitment to emerging designers official.

Every two years, a group of four designers will be selected to foster. Their pieces will be sold exclusively on Moda's website, and in turn Moda will help mentor and guide the brand as it breaks into the big leagues. For it's first class, Moda has selected an impressive group of brands: Markarian, Eleanor Balfour, Yeon, and Lake Studio. If you're not familiar with any of the four, you will be sure to see more of them very soon.

Read on for an exclusive look at Moda Operandi's shoot with their first incoming class of "The Platform"!
