Since news broke yesterday of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's engagement, people around the world have shared their excitement for the prospect of the next big royal wedding. It was seven years ago that Prince William and Kate Middleton shared their own engagement news, but for this royal wedding, they'll be sharing the limelight.

So, what is their take on the big news? While on an official visit to The Foundling Museum today, the Duchess of Cambridge shared her sentiments "William and I are absolutely thrilled," she told a reporter. "it's a really happy time for any couple and we wish them all the best." Markle and Middleton have each established their own devotion to philanthropy, as well as their own take on royal style, and we can only expect to see more great things from both women over the next months and years. And as for Kate's role in the upcoming nuptials? Only time will tell.
