Congrats are in order! Christie Brinkley and Billy Joel's daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, is the latest celeb to get engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Ryan Gleason. Gleason proposed to the singer over New Year's Eve while the two were on a beach vacation to celebrate Ray Joel's 32 birthday. Now that's a way to ring in (pun intended) the New Year!

"So I was completely taken off-guard, dumbstruck, and shell-shocked- and FOR ONCE in my life, I had absolutely no words, and I couldn’t speak," she captioned one of her Instagram announcements. "I just kept staring at this ridiculously exquisite ring-and he was just hysterically laughing at me!!!"

And an exquisitely stunning ring it is indeed. In fact, the ring, which features an intricate band, is a trend that we'll definitely be seeing a lot more of this year. And now, the wait for the dress reveal begins.
