Your favorite brands are giving you more reasons to love them. As WWD reports, 64 major companies have just committed to becoming more sustainable by 2020. Led by the Global Fashion Agenda, the brands will achieve the goal in a number of different ways, including eliminating non-recyclable materials, developing improved recycling technologies, and repurposing materials.

Zara, Target, ASOS, Adidas, and Reformation are among the brands that have signed the new pledge, and per WWD, each company set its own goals for achieving sustainability. The Global Fashion Agenda's website explains what it hopes to achieve by uniting these brands: "Global Fashion Agenda’s mission is to mobilize the international fashion industry to transform the way we produce and consume fashion. This is done by engaging the broader fashion community on the most pressing issues and solutions and by creating joint commitments to achieve significant progress." We can't wait to see what progress will me made in the next two years—and beyond.
