Ever the sartorial risktaker, Gigi Hadid just wore a denim style that's decades-old, but has been pushed aside in recent years: ultra-long flared jeans. Every so often, designers make an attempt to bring the '70s style back, but it hasn't been sticking as of late. While cropped flares are practically a classic at this point after catching on several years ago, when we see someone wearing long flares, we do a bit of a double-take, which is how we reacted to Hadid's latest look. 

From the knees up, Hadid's flares could practically pass as skinny jeans, but the wide, exaggerated flares at the hem take them straight to retro status. But Hadid didn't go for a purely '70s look. With the addition of a hot pink micro mini bag, fur jacket, and platform Dr. Martens, she fast-forwarded straight to the '90s. The resulting outfit was unexpected and cool enough to copy, in our humble opinion.
