There are thousands of companies out there, but which ones are truly the cream of the crop? Fortune just released its newest list of the World's Most Admired Companies, and as you might expect, the usual suspects nabbed the top three spots: Apple, Amazon, and Google's parent company, Alphabet. So how do fashion brands rank? The highest-ranking fashion company is none other than Nike, which came in at #16 overall.

As for other fashion-related companies, Nordstrom ranked #28, Target nabbed the #38 spot, and Adidas was #42. If you're wondering how the list was created, Fortune explains that it asked "executives, directors, and analysts to rate enterprises in their own industry on nine criteria, from investment value and quality of management and products to social responsibility and ability to attract talent." The result is a list of the companies with stellar reputations that everyone wants to work for and buy products from. Do you agree with the list?
