First and foremost, here's what we love about the current crop of leggings at Zara (aside from their affordability): Most of them don't actually look like leggings. And if you're trying to get away with wearing leggings as pants, that's a very good thing.

One pair, in particular, that we've had our eye on since they arrived in stock earlier this fall are Zara's ultra-flattering Checked High Waist Leggings, which feature ankle slits and buttons at the waist. Those details, combined with the chic (and very on-trend) checked pattern make them completely airport-worthy, if it's a polished look you're seeking.

Victoria's Secret Angel (and obvious fashion girl) Romee Strijd clearly got that memo, as she just wore the $70 Zara leggings in question at LAX. To complete her cool airport look, Strijd paired them with a furry cropped jacket, patent leather ankle boots, and a leather baker boy hat. Since holiday travel season is upon us, you'll probably want to add them to cart while you can. (FYI: they come in black too.)

When we think of killer street style, we typically envision the cool outfits we scope out on, well, the streets. Last weekend, however, the Street Style Saturday event we hosted at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta proved there's plenty of great style to be discovered indoors. Seriously—as ATL's local trendsetters filed in, we witnessed outfits chic enough to rival the looks we saw on the streets during Paris Fashion Week.

Unsurprisingly, their ensembles comprised a role call of fall's most popular trends, featuring editor-curated pieces from H&M, Zara, Nordstrom, J.Crew, and Macy's. Guests received styling tips from local fashion girls Coco Bassey and Emily Hertz, snapped their best looks in our photo booth, hung out in our cozy lounge, and enjoyed giveaways from some of our favorite stores.

Need a little street style inspiration of your own? Below, you'll find the best on-trend looks spotted at our event.
